Welcome to UV Lum! These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our website (UVLum.com) and purchasing our products. By accessing or using our website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website.

1. General Terms

✔ Eligibility – By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a legal guardian.
✔ Modification of Terms – UV Lum reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Product Information & Orders

✔ Product Accuracy – We strive to ensure all product descriptions, pricing, and images are accurate. However, errors may occur, and we reserve the right to correct them.
✔ Availability – Product availability is subject to change without notice. If an item is out of stock after you place an order, we will notify you and offer alternatives.
✔ Order Acceptance – We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraud, pricing errors, or violations of these Terms and Conditions.

3. Pricing & Payments

✔ Prices – All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.
✔ Taxes – Customers are responsible for any applicable sales taxes, duties, or import fees.
✔ Payments – We accept major credit/debit cards, PayPal, and other secure payment methods. All payments must be made in full before an order is processed and shipped.

4. Shipping & Delivery

✔ Shipping Locations – We ship from our Washington, USA headquarters to locations across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
✔ Processing Times – Orders are typically processed within 5-10 business days.
✔ Shipping Delays – UV Lum is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, customs, or other unforeseen circumstances.
✔ Lost or Stolen Packages – Once an order is marked as “delivered,” UV Lum is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please contact the shipping carrier for resolution.

5. Warranty & Liability

**Part 1: Warranty Policy**

UVLum purchases come with a 30-day “bumper-to-bumper” warranty and a 12 month limited warranty. The 30-day warranty allows you to return the device for a full refund if you’re unhappy with the quality for any reason or if the unit was damaged in shipping. After 30 days, the 12 month limited warranty covers manufacturing defects, or failure of the device for one year. The 12 month limited warranty does not cover damage from misuse like dropping the unit, spilled liquids, or slamming the lid. Please read the details below for further explanation

**A. 30-Day “Bumper-to-Bumper” Satisfaction Guarantee**

We want you to be completely satisfied with your UVlum UV light generator. Therefore, we offer a **30-day “bumper-to-bumper” warranty**, which includes:

* **Coverage:**

* Shipping damage

* Unit Dead on Arrival (DOA)

* General dissatisfaction with quality or performance

* **Remedies:**

* Full refund or replacement upon return of the unit

* **Conditions:**

* Buyer is responsible for return shipping

* Returned item must include a printed copy of the original purchase receipt

* Unit must be returned in reasonably undamaged condition (excluding DOA or shipping damage)

#### **B. 1-Year Limited Warranty**

UVlum provides a **1-year limited warranty** against **manufacturer defects and component failures**, including the following systems:

* Electrical

* Fans

* Switches

* Circuit Boards

* Hinges

* Mechanical parts

* UV Bulb Function\*

**Bulb Function Clause:**

If a UV bulb fails within 12 months and is **intact** (not shattered or visibly damaged), the replacement is covered.

If the bulb is **shattered or visibly damaged** due to mishandling (e.g. dropping, impact, liquid exposure), it will not be covered.

* **Warranty Process:**

1. Contact UVlum with a description of the issue.

2. Provide **photos or video evidence** to help us evaluate the problem.

3. Ship the unit to UVlum for service (**buyer covers shipping to UVlum**).

4. We will repair or replace the unit and **cover return shipping**.

* **Exclusions:**

* End-user misuse (e.g. dropped units, spilled liquids)

* Mishandling (e.g. slamming lid, broken glass)

* Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, discoloration)

* Unauthorized modifications or repairs

#### **C. Post-Warranty Support (Beyond 1 Year)**

Even after your warranty expires, we care about your experience. If your unit experiences issues that appear to be the result of **build quality or material defects**, please contact us.

At our **sole discretion**, we may choose to repair or replace the unit **at no cost to you**, excluding shipping fees.

Even after 12 months, we’re motivated to improve our build quality and reliability. Repair and service beyond the 12-month warranty provides us with valuable end-user feedback.

6. Intellectual Property

✔ Ownership – All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and product designs, is the intellectual property of UV Lum. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

✔ Your Data – By using our website, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
